The Salem Fire - Tabernacle Of Holiness fixture was the one to be watched at Orchid Park Secondary School (Khatib)

With a James Kumar Chandran hat trick in addition to goals by Timothy Neo Zhong Kai and team captain, Raakesh Moganasundram, Errol Champion's side managed to take all three points from a 6-1 goalfest win against Tabernacle Of Holiness, which is officially recorded and marked as the most ever scored in the fixture.

Also, earning the Man of The Match award, James continues to be the top goalscorer in Salem Fire with 5 goals in 2 games, from one hat-trick against this afternoon's opponents and a double against SBJ United at Fuchun Secondary School (Marsiling) last week. Quite simply James is the best, but we never had any doubts about our golden boy.

Newly transferred in player, James Kumar Chandran, showed why he is the man in form at the moment as he found the net in the game against SBJ United for his first two goals of the season

James Kumar Chandran has reached two goals for the season. The two goals came against SBJ United on Sunday on a warm afternoon in Fuchun Secondary School (Marsiling) when he hit a powerful shot onto the underside of the crossbar and bounced into the back of the net to put the Fires ahead. This fresh yet experienced Salem Fire striker then scored another goal with an unstoppable left-footed shot which, in the right way, led Salem Fire to a secured top of the table finish. The Ex-Smyrna star, who is not afraid to cry and sweat for the cause, is going to have one of his best seasons on record. Salem Fire can now build towards the next match at Orchid Park Secondary School (Khatib) where it will be as warm as it was in Marsiling and they can certainly count on James to turn in another brilliant performance.
