The Training Session & The Right Moment

The Fires had their training session in Bishan this afternoon at Bishan Park. Salmin, Joshua, Raakesh and Vijay were absent.

The session started with the squad divided in two for a tackling drill. The players then had some man-marking drill ending with a shooting practise. The party will prepare for Sunday's friendly tie against The Eagles. Match venue will be notified soon.

Taking a look at the injury situation: Khairul and Shalih just came on the injured list

Summing up the current situation with the injuries:

Khairul: He pulled a ligament in his knee last season. However, a few days ago the pain returned. He is in the hospital being warded. He is doing well. He is happy and so are we. We hope to see him on the field again within the next month or month and a half. Perhaps he will be ready for the this year's Adonai League, but if there is any risk then we prefer to wait.

Khairul's Injury

Shalih: He was injured during this week's training session at Bishan Park. His injury occurred during shooting practise, after Isa's shot exactly, after the training session he said he was in a bit of pain but it seemed to have passed and there were no problems. He will recovered in time to play against the Eagles.
